Pandemic Recovery Report

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the State of Iowa has incurred necessary COVID-19 expenses, and has been awarded federal funds to support our recovery efforts.  This report provides information on covered funds as defined by Section 15011 of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act which include appropriations made by:
  • The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act;
  • The Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2020 (Public Law 116–123);
  • The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (Public Law 116–127); or
  • Any other Act primarily making appropriations for the Coronavirus response and related activities (Sec. 15010(6)

Federal Funds Awarded

This measure is the cumulative total of federal funds awarded to Executive Branch agencies of the State of Iowa that are considered covered funds as defined by Section 15011 of the CARES Act.  Data is reported by individual State Agencies upon receipt of the federal award.
