This dataset reports statewide weekly unemployment insurance initial claims by NAICS industry sector. This weekly data has been added in response to requests for more timely data to help measure the impact of the pandemic on Iowans. Data is based on a snapshot of unemployment insurance records. It may not match official U. S. Department of Labor official initial claims figures.
