This dataset contains statewide Unemployment Insurance claims and payment activities for Iowa. This data is based on the ETA-5159 report that IWD submits to the US Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration. This data includes the Regular Unemployment Insurance benefits (UI). It does not include Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE), Unemployment Compensation for Ex-servicemembers (UCX), Voluntary Shared Work, and temporary extensions such as Extended Benefits (EB) and Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC).
