About This View

The map below shows the highest rural consolidated property tax rates by political township for fiscal year 2012 (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012). Some political townships may contain more than one taxing district. The one with the highest consolidated property tax rate is shown. Property tax rates are the dollars collected per $1,000 in a property's taxable value. The consolidated rate represents the combined rate for all levy authorities (e.g. counties, school districts, townships, etc.) represented in a tax district.
